Brian J. Baker D.C.

Dr. Baker grew up in Watertown Connecticut. He received his bachelor's degree in Physical and Neuro Biology from The University of Connecticut. His emphasis is on the holistic treatment of acute and chronic pain syndromes as well as sports injuries. Dr. Baker's approach combines the power of traditional chiropractic techniques with the contemporary science of mind-body medicine and the age old wisdom of the natural healing arts. Dr. Baker emphasizes living a life of balance including regular exercise, proper nutrition and stress management. Growing up, he gained a fondness for sports, which lead to his development as a multi-sport athlete throughout high school and college. Along with his athletic participation came many injuries like low back pain, headaches, and shoulder and ankle problems. As these would come to bother him later in life he began to realize the benefits of chiropractic. Later chiropractic would allow, his now wife, to become pain free for the first time in many years.
He received his Doctorate of Chiropractic from The University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic in Connecticut. He continues to pursue his love for sports, rehabilitation, and nutrition by attending various postgraduate seminars focusing on these areas.
In 2015 Brian fulfill his dream of opening his own practice and brings his years of experience to his home town. As the owner of Chiropractic & Health Associates he continues to focus on a holistic approach to not only treat acute and chronic issues, but to educate his patients on life style changes to live a happier, healthier, more fulfilled life. His new practice has allowed him to practice under the same roof as other like minded healers. This allows his patients to benefit from a wide range of knowledgeable practitioners. Dr. Baker lives in Watertown, Connecticut with his wife Alicia, his two children Brennan, and Ava, and his German Short Hair Lacey. His interests include hiking, water and snow skiing, basketball, coaching, and spending time with his family.
